I’ve got exactly the same problem, with basically the same hardware: From the looks of this thread, this has been going on for a long time and this not an adequate response from any party. Fingers crossed, my adaoter backup with the change is still going.
After reading some threads on hp and Symantec forums I suspect something related to Microsoft storport driver is wrong but updating it didn’t help. The file you want to download is labeled: Thankyou, that was a lifesaver and worked as described!!
