The main difference in the Ping G10 irons compared to the G5 is that the cavity back has been made bigger and this in turn has allowed weight to be moved lower and further back for more forgiveness. The strike is sweet and they are so easy to hit. The only thing stopping me giving 5 stars is the sound and feel aren’t quite as satisfying compared to some more expensive clubs. Yes they aren’t as easy to shape the ball with as some irons, but other than that they are faultless. It was well worth the 3 hours i spent in American golf trying out several different clubs.

But in building the G10, Ping may have given themselves a problem; how will they improve on what is quite clearly already a brilliant club?
The deep face certainly means you won’t sky it. These clubs are excellent.
Only been playing for 6 months and have noticed such a difference. You feel you can’t miss the ball. And wow what a club!. By submitting a review you agree to be bound by our terms and conditions.

Better than my previous G5 model. The sizeable, classy head shape also does at least its fair share of confidence-boosting. First thing I noticed was the larger head size and the deeper face. Picked up my new G10 driver earlier in the week. In all I am very impressed and would recommend this club to any one low or high pijg.
Although there does not appear to be that much difference in design to the G5 once you hit it you will realise what all the hype is about. I think they will be very popular with any golfer with handicap. Durable and glare free finish to club heads. My only gripe was that they took a couple of weeks to get here, but other than that I can’t find a lot wrong with them.

However I can’t see the skilled golfers moving from Taylormades or Titleist Drivers to this due to the high-launch and poor stock shafts. Example, was playing today, in the rough to the right of the 18th fairway, yards to the pin, didn’t get underneath at all, hit the ball with the heel and still ended up 8 inches from the pin.
Combine that with Ping’s excellent custom fitting service and you won’t be disappointed with these irons. The driver is very forgiving of any off centre hit and when everything aligns perfectly the ball g1 a long long way; this from a skinny boy not an 18 st monster!
Ping G10 Driver
When it comes down to the stats Ping tour players have found the Ping G10 an average of figest yards longer than their current driver.
The story behind the Ping G10 Driver is one of evolution not revolution.
